Christian Dumont

Christian has always been immersed in the construction business; he knew early on that building homes was going to be a major part of life. Starting off sweeping floors in his early teens, and doing carpentry work later, Christian gained a lot of building knowledge in the field growing up. After returning home from college, where he learned the business side of the building industry, Christian was now ready to manage the construction of upper end custom homes. After a number of years of construction management, Christian started his own cabinet and kitchen remodeling company in 2004 called Dumont Enterprises. Christian is designing and supplying cabinets to several builders around the Richmond area, along with complete kitchen and bath renovations for individuals.

Currently residing in Powhatan County on a working farm, Christian enjoys tending to the land and working in his wood working shop where he builds reproduction furniture from the 18th century. Christian has two children, Christopher and Madeline, and wife Debra.

Mike Dumont

Mike moved to Connecticut, from Quebec, in 1968 with only $300 in his pocket. When a large residential construction project became available in Richmond, Mike moved to Virginia and decided this was home. After completing a custom, contemporary home in Richmond, VA his reputation grew. A custom home became Mike's trade mark, not only for the details in the home but for the way he listens to his customers.

Mike has been building homes since 1973 in the Richmond area. Many of his homes are still occupied by the original owners, because he knew what his customers wanted and designed the home for the individual customer. If they do become for sale, it is not unusual to see the newspaper describe the home as a "Dumont Home", as his name is well known for quality.
